The most concentrated form of a mastermind group is the one-on-one relationship between mentor and mentee; it’s loosest form is a large professional network such as LinkedIn.
Either way, recognise that most people in a professional career are very willing to offer advice to other professionals, but a word of warning - yes, willing but not necessarily able!
Be very wary of the well meaning friend, colleague or relation whose opening phrase is, “If I were you I’d .....”.
Remember they are NOT you and their advice will often be appropriate to their own values, personality and drivers, NOT yours.
On the other hand your mentor or coach or personal mastermind group will already know your values, personality and drivers and will advise you accordingly.
